HISTORICAL PLACES TO STAY

A Bed and Breakfast in Nucla Positioned for a True Respite

When you come down from the mountains after a few days of hiking, having a clean bed, tasty breakfast, and good company can help to soften your return to civilization. Vestal House at Tabeguache Park is a bed and breakfast in quiet Nucla, right on your road back home. The town is quiet, so you won't be blinded by neon signs or all-night dance clubs. Drop your bags in your room, grab a shower, and share your new memories in the common room. Our doors are open to you!

Discovering Your Heritage in this Historical Place to Stay

Are you spending your vacation with the desire to do mountain biking, atv riding or maybe hike? Our town was first established in 1904, but the surrounding hills offer a wealth of activities such as the famous Rimrocker trail. The Rimrocker Historical Society has organized many self guided tour brochures to include petroglyphs, wild horses, the Hanging Flume, historic uranium mines and the historic town site of Uravan, Colorado.

Situated in Town for Easy Shopping and Stocking Up for the Big Hunt

Perhaps you are stopping by before heading out for some serious hunting. All the local stores are situated just out our door, so if you need more jerky, granola, or water bottles, you can fill up while enjoying an evening back in civilization. Our common area includes a kitchen available for your use so you can whip up a pot of chile or chop up a salad.
